WONDER AND RETURN A LITTLE CHILDREN
The snow fascinates us so much because when the snowflakes fall behind the windows we feel like children and we dream of a world suspended, silent, in which to move with delicate attentions; in short, the snow is able to awaken the wonder that is in us and, sometimes, to show us things that are more “candid” and simple than we are used to seeing.
Snow is also synonymous with Christmas and winter holidays are synonymous with joy, intimacy, familiarity. The snow attracts the skier, the free riders who descent the hill with technique and speed… calls those who want to walk with snowshoes or ski mountaineering in the fresh snow in the woods to breathe fresh air and marvel at the surrounding nature… calls back the children who run and throw themselves into the snow, play and laugh….
